The process of draining water channels at Jalan Menteng Atas Selatan Gg II, RT 04/12, Menteng Atas Urban Village, Setiabudi, South Jakarta is targeted to be completed this week.
Setiabudi Sub-district Head Sri Yuliani Saraswaty said the draining work carried out by six personnel under Setiabudi Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency had been ongoing since a week.

She stated that the channel itself had half a meter width and 100 meters length with 25-30 cm depth.
"Hopefully it can accommodate water in large quantities when rain pours in a bid to minimize puddles," she hoped.
