Transjakarta Gandeng LinkAja Sebagai Metide Pembayaran Digital

Transjakarta - LinkAja Collaboration Facilitates Digital Ticket Payment

PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) collaborates with LinkAja to be its partner for digital-based ticket payment through Tije application. This cooperation is expected to make it easier for Transjakarta users to buy tickets online, especially in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic situation.

This cooperation also supports non-cash payment ecosystem

PT. Transjakarta Service and Development Director, Achmad Izzul Waro welcomed this collaboration because it supports Jakarta Government in realizing City 4.0 and urban regeneration with a digital-based transaction system, as well as touchless technology which is also potential to suppress COVID-19 transmission.

"This cooperation also supports non-cash payment ecosystem, especially for Transjakarta service as one of the largest public transportation service in Jakarta, as well as the mainstay of citizen mobility provided by Jakarta Government for its citizens," he said in his written statement on Thursday (10/8).

Here are Various Facilities Owned by JIS

By using QR code system, he expects customers can be more independent and discipline to apply the use of one ticket for one person, without touching.

LinkAja President Director, Haryati Lawidjaja added, LinkAja that has more than 57 million registered users throughout Indonesia, is present as the first server-based national electronic money that can be used on Transjakarta through Tije application.

This system, she assessed, gives a pleasant experience for the community in using Transjakarta service, starting from purchasing ticket online, knowing more information about routes, bus stops, bus positions, and various other services.

"LinkAja is not only used to pay Transjakarta tickets, but also as an electronic money that has the most complete transportation ecosystem that can be enjoyed by LinkAja users and Syarah LinkAja Service," she explained.

With these facilities, she hopes it can increase transaction efficiency in terms of time and sense of security and comfort because it supports touchless technology where it is increasingly needed to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.
