Here are Adjustments of Transjakarta Operational Hours During PSBB

PT Transjakarta adjusted the operational hours during Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) starting Thursday (9/17). This policy was taken to follow up the coordination result of operation pattern with Transportation Agency (Dishub) as well as an effort to control COVID-19.

PT. Transjakarta Operation Director, Prasetia Budi mentioned, his side will enforce four things related to Transjakarta bus operation during PSBB.

For operating hours, Transjakarta bus operates at 5 AM - 8 PM on September 17-20, 2020. Then it changed into 5 AM-7 PM on September 21-27, 2020.

"The operating route haven't changed," he said, in his written statement, Wednesday (9/16).

Every two days, his side will evaluate the routes for readjustment and ensure no buildup of passengers at bus stops or bus on each route.

"We hope Transjakarta bus users to stay at home if there is no urgent need, take care of your health and your family," he added.

If there is an urgent need and must take Transjakarta bus, his side reminds the users to implement 3M (wear mask, wash hands, and keep a safe distance).

He also asked customers to be more aware to listen the officer's direction.

"If bus capacity has reached 50 percent at the peak hour and our officers have limited the passengers, we hope customers can be patient to wait for the next bus and follow the officer's direction," he stated.
