Sarana Jaya Distributes Staple Food Assistance for the Blind

Perumda Sarana Jaya continues to distribute staple food assistance for Jakarta residents who are affected by COVID-19 pandemic. This time, 100 staple food packages have been distributed to Difable Agape Ministry, Pulogebang, Cakung, East Jakarta.

We hope this pandemic ends soon

Difable Agape Ministry Chairperson, Jhon Purba explained, this assistance is very beneficial for its members who are blind. Although they have physical limitations, it doesn't lower their enthusiasm to struggle in the midst of pandemic situation.

"Before the pandemic, we work as kerupuk (fish crackers) seller and masseuse. But in the midst of pandemic, we have problem in selling kerupuk. While for massaging, people who want to massage are afraid of being exposed to COVID-19," he mentioned, Wednesday (10/14).

He was grateful to receive assistance from Perumda Sarana Jaya. At least, with this assistance, his members can be at ease because it can fulfill their daily necessities for several days ahead.

"We hope this pandemic ends soon," he expressed.

Perumda Sarana Jaya, Bima P. Sentosa mentioned, during the pandemic situation, his side will continue to provide assistance to those who are in needs through corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.

"We are very happy if we can help other residents to survive in the current conditions, at least it can reduce their burden in fulfilling their daily needs. It is form of our concern for residents around Jakarta," he conveyed.
