Light to Heavy Rain Expected to Fall in Several Jakarta Regions

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted rain to fall in several Jakarta regions from afternoon.

Rain is potential to fall with lightning and strong wind in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta in late afternoon

BMKG's Public Relation Head, Achmad Taufan Maulana stated, cloudy this morning in Jakarta, but in afternoon, moderate rain will fall in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta and light rain in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

"Rain is potential to fall with lightning and strong wind in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta in late afternoon," he informed, Monday (10/19).

BMKG Warns of Extreme Weather During Transition to Rainy Season

Tonight will be cloudy in most regions until tomorrow's dawn and light rain is potential to fall in North Jakarta, while heavy rain in Thousand Islands.

"Today's temperature could reach 23-32 degrees Celsius with humidity 85-95 percent. Wind blows from southeast to south within 05-20 kilometers per hour," he mentioned.
