Free Wi-Fi at Transjakarta Corridor 1 Stops for Commuters Comfort

Realizing that commuters often have to wait for Transjakarta buses, especially during rush hour, the PT Transjakarta has been providing free Wi-Fi service in all corridor 1 (Blok M - Kota) stops for its visitors.

PT Transjakarta Managing Director Sardjono Jhony Tjitrokusumo said similar thing would also be applied in 12 other corridors and was targeted to be complete by the end of this year.

He explained this free wifi access provided easy internet access for customers, especially those who want to use the TIJE application, both for booking tickets and sharing tickets using the transfer feature.

Surely it could increase Transjakarta's efforts to improve better services in the future.

"By so, entrepreneurs and MSMEs can open up opportunities to market their products in the Transjakarta area, considering that in normal conditions Transjakarta already serves more than one million customers every day," he stated.
