Jakarta Ensures Pump Readiness Until Mud Dredging Runs Optimally"Of course in the future, there will be many challenges and problems that must be resolved and faced in Jakarta. Number of awards and achievements should be appreciated, but leadership will be meaningful for its citizens if the goal is work for people of Jakarta. That is what I see from what Mr. Anies doing," she said in a press release, Wednesday (10/21).
According to her, since the beginning of his leadership, Anies Baswedan has worked hard to change the style of development in Jakarta, where government's role is not as an administrator but as a collaborators, while residents' role is as a creator. residents who were once considered as the part of problem now have become a part of solution and have been involved in the development process.
"A clear example of change in Jakarta development's paradigm pattern is through community-based action plan concept. Now the villagers are the main subject for their village's development since they understand better about problems and solution for their villages," she mentioned.
For her, community-based village planning concept is a smart solution because it will not only change the face of villages in Jakarta, but also become a way to empower residents both economically and socio-culture. Arrangement in 21 priority villages, one of which is in Kampung Akuarium, Bukit Duri, and Kampung Bayam is not just fulfilling campaign promises, but a real application of leadership which has meaning for the residents.
Besides, the accuracy and speed of Anies Baswedan and his subordinates, including medical personnel and all stakeholders in overcoming COVID-19 for the past 7 months also deserve appreciation. It can be seen that Jakarta Government's initiatives and speed in dealing with COVID-19 becomes a reference for other regions and also become national reference.
"The resilience of a leader is not tested during normal situation, but in times of crisis. Hopefully
this good 3-year journey will make a strong foundation for Mr. Anies and his subordinates to realize Jakarta as advanced city with happy citizens," she conveyed.
