West Jakarta's Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Chairman H. Baharuddin said tens of thousands of antiseptic soap had been distributed to 8 sub-district and 56 urban village offices, on Wednesday (10/21).
"Eventually those antiseptic soaps will be redistributed to local residents," he expressed.
East Jakarta PMI Distributes Tents to 10 Sub-districtsHe explained that each urban village received 10 boxes containing 720 pieces of soap and sub-district received 5 boxes containing 360 pieces of soap. The total amount of soap given was 43,200 pieces.
"Hopefully people get into the habit of implementing 3M protocols, especially washing their hands with soap. When it becomes a habit, InsyaAllah we will be free from the coronavirus," he explained.
Tamansari Sub-district Head Risan H. Mustar uttered that his party gave an appreciation to the West Jakarta PMI, which had helped the government a lot in accelerating the handling of coronavirus.
"Thank your for everything, moreover you have helped a lot for combating the disease in Tamansari area," he stated.
