140 Bansos Packages Distributed to Residents in the Farthest Island

Jakarta Government distributed 140 social aid (bansos) packages for residents of Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, the outer island of Jakarta.

Harapan Island Urban Village Head, Adi Apandi mentioned, total 627 bansos packages were allocated to residents in Harapan Island Urban Village.

"Especially for RW 03 that located in Sebira Island, government provided 140 packages. While 264 packages for RW 01, and 223 packages for RW 02 of Harapan Island," he stated, Wednesday (11/11).

Tidung Island Urban Village Residents Receive the 9th Bansos Package

He explained, bansos packages were directly distributed by local RT/RW administrators to residents houses to avoid COVID-19 transmission.

"There are no significant obstacles in distributing the 9th bansos packages. Everything went well according to health protocols," he mentioned.

RW 03 Sebira Island Head, Mohammad Ali Kurniawan expressed his gratitude to Jakarta Government for being fair and equal to residents of Sebira Island although it is the farthest island.

"Thank you for Jakarta Government for giving more attention to residents on the farthest island. This assistance is very helpful for the residents," he conveyed.
