1,779 Bansos Packages Distributed to Kelapa Island Urban Village

Total 1,779 social aid (Bansos) packages were distributed to Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands. Those Bansos packages were provided by Jakarta Government for assisting underprivileged residents in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.
There are 4 RWs in Kelapa Island and 1 RW in Kelapa Dua Island who will receive this assistance
Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Madi Moh. Dali mentioned, as many as 378 packages will be distributed to RW 01, 356 packages to RW 02, 464 packages to RW 03, 454 packages to RW 04, and 127 packages to RW 05.
"There are 4 RWs in Kelapa Island and 1 RW in Kelapa Dua Island who will receive this assistance," he said at Main Pier of Kelapa Island, Thursday (10/22).

"We will distribute it to residents' houses directly to avoid crowd and minimize the potential of COVID-19 transmission," he explained.
On the other side, RW 05 Head of Kelapa Island Urban Village, Musliyadi conveyed his gratitude to Jakarta Government for providing assistance since the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic.
"It really helps us to fulfill our daily needs during the pandemic. Thank you," he expressed.
