City Distributes 1,416 Bansos Packages to Residents in Tidung Island

Jakarta Government distributed 1,416 social aid (Bansos) packages for residents in Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

By implementing health protocols, we distribute it directly to the local RT/RW to avoid crowd

Tidung Island Urban Village Hed, Hafsah mentioned, this assistance was given for residents in 4 RWs. In detail, 317 packages distributed for RW 01, 340 packages for RW 02, 476 packages for RW 03, and 283 packages for RW 04.

"By implementing health protocols, we distribute it directly to the local RT/RW to avoid crowd. Because we want to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he asserted, Wednesday (10/21).

According to him, Bansos packages consisted of rice, packaged chicken curry, wafers, soy sauce, instant noodles, flour, cooking oil, sardines, and soap bar.

On the other hand, RW 03 Head, Khairudin conveyed his gratitude for Jakarta government for distributing this assistance.

"COVID-19 pandemic also affects our economy. Thus this assistance is really helpful for us," he said.
