Tidal Floods in Tegal Alur Have Receded

Tidal flooding from the sea that hit a number of neighborhoods (RT) in Tegal Alur Urban Village, Kalideres, West Jakarta since Monday (11/16) have receded. These RTs are 13, 14 and 15/RW 09 and RT 08/RW 01.

Thus far the water left at the location is about 10-20 centimeters

Tegal Alur Urban Village Head Arifianto said the disaster caused the Semonggol River to overflow. Moreover those RTs were basin areas. To handle it, his side immediately dispatched 20 personnel of PPSU to the location by cleaning the clogged drain caused by waste.

"Thus far the water left at the location is about 10-20 centimeters," he expressed, Monday (11/16).

Inundation at RW 04 and 05 Kampung Melayu Urban Village Has Receded

Despite there was no evacuation, his party set up an evacuation site at SDM 01 Tegal Alur in order to anticipate unwanted things.

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Head Purwanti Suryandari added floating and portable pumps had been alerted to suck up in order to minimize another tidal floods.
