129 RTs Flooded Due to Rain Since Saturday, BPBD Prepares 9 Shelters

Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) noted as many as 129 RTs in Jakarta were inundated due to heavy rain since Saturday (10/10). Nine shelters were built for evacuees.

Based on updated information by this morning, 129 RTs were inundated due to rain since Saturday

Jakarta BPBD Center for Disaster Data and Information (Pusdatin) Head, Mohammad Insaf conveyed, based on data he collected as of Sunday (10/11) at 06:00 WIB, as many as 129 RTs were inundated with water as high as 10-150 centimeters.

Number of RTs that were inundated, consisting of 53 RTs in South Jakarta, 19 RTs in West Jakarta, and 57 RTs in East Jakarta. "Based on updated information by this morning, 129 RTs were inundated due to rain since Saturday ," he said on Sunday (10/11).

According to him, there were nine shelters in East and South Jakarta with total 64 evacuees at Rambutan Urban Village Office's hall, Nurul Hikmah Mosque, Al Muhasabah Musala (Prayer Room) in East Jakarta.

Meanwhile three urban villages in South Jakarta also built shelters. Those are Ciganjur Urban Village with total 1,200 evacuees in several shelters such as Citra Alam School, Ciganjur Urban Village Gazebo, and An Nur Kindergarten. While 39 evacuees in Cilandak TImur Urban Village who stayed at At Takwa Musala and Al Mamuriah Musala.

"In Pondok Pinang Urban Village, there are around 30 people who evacuate at Al Ikhlas Musala," he mentioned.

Furthermore, 15 roads were inundated with water level (TMA) about 10-50 centimeters. But all of them were confirmed to have receded. "All flooded road have receded by this morning," he added.

1. Jalan Nangka Raya (in front of Al-Murtado Mosque), Tanjung Barat Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district.

2. Jalan Lenteng Agung Raya, Tanjung Barat Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district.

3. Jalan Lapangan Tembak, Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district.

4. Jalan NIS, Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district.

5. Jalan Jambu, Pejaten Barat Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district.

6. Jalan Kamboja, Pejaten Barat Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district.

7. Jalan Pejaten Barat II, Pejaten Barat Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district.

Meanwhile, here is the list of flooded roads in East Jakarta:

1. Jalan Kalisari III, Kalisari Urban Village, Pasar Rebo Sub-district.

2. Jalan Gerbang Sari Dalam III, Bambu Apus Urban Village, Cipayung Sub-district.

3. Jalan Swadaya, Cijantung Urban Village, Pasar Rebo Sub-district.

4. Jalan H. Saibun, Susukan Urban Village, Ciracas Sub-district.

5. Jalan Raya Bogor HEX, Tengah Urban Village, Kramat Jati Sub-district.

5. Jalan Griya Manunggal 1, Kalisari Urban Village, Pasar Rebo Sub-district.

6. Jalan Kenanga, Kalisari Urban Village, Pasar Rebo Sub-district.
