North Jakarta Library and Archive (Pusip) Sub-agency appointed Rawa Badak Selatan Urban Village in Koja to be a pilot project for Inisiatif Keluarga Ringkas Aksara (IKRA) program.

North Jakarta Pusip Sub-agency Head, Wahyu Prabowo stated, as a family-based program, IKRA is an alternative productive activity at home that has been running since March 2020 until now.

Thousand Islands Public Library Provides Pick-up Books ServiceIKRA program encourages family to read and summarize books with various themes in their homes. This activity will be documented independently in form of photos and videos.
North Jakarta Pusip Sub-agency's Library Section Head, Iwan Hery Santoso conveyed, his side will lend book collections as materials for IKRA participants to read and summarize.
Moreover, his side will also provide Library Member Card for residents who participate in this activity. Local sub-district apparatuses will distribute books directly to participants' houses with assistance from PKK cadres.
"During the pandemic, we continue to empower people to increase their interest in reading," he closed.
