Jakarta International Stadium Construction Accelerated

The process of Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) construction project has touched 38.69 percent.

Corporate Communication & Commercial for JIS Project, Arnold Kindangen mentioned, entering the 66th week, its process has touched 38.69 percent. It has entered the finishing stage of east ramp and roof structure assembling.

"We are currently completing the pierhead in the main column. The construction uses slipform concept," he conveyed, Wednesday (12/9).

Entering 64th Week, JIS Construction Touches 36.7 Percent

For construction on the training field, he continued, is still in the finishing stage for stands and lamppost installation.

"JIS area in total reaches 23 hectares with land under RAP of 1.2 hectares," he stated.

According to him, JIS area is expected to reach 235,127 square meters with audience capacity of 82,000 people.
