Regent Asks Public to Stay at Home During New Year HolidaysAccording to him, several sectors have shown significant progress, such as education sector whose participation rate is quite high since it is supported by adequate facilities.
For clean water, he continued, 11 residential islands now have access to clean water through Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) and Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) installations.
"Wastewater treatment plant construction in residential islands now has touched 75 percent. It will be completed by 2022 at the latest," he informed.
Furthermore, electricity and internet network have reached almost all residential islands in Thousand Islands.
Recently, Thousand Islands Regency has also maintained its title as Regency that Concerns for Human Rights.
He expected several sectors could be improved in the future, such as transportation and health sectors. Thus citizens can get the best service from government.
"In transportation sector, we still don't have entrance or special ports. While in health sector, we still need to add various things, from medical facilities to specialist doctors," he explained.
