Panggang Island Puskesmas Intensifies 3T in Handling COVID-19

Panggang Island Urban Village Health Center (Puskesmas), North Thousand Islands Sub-district intensifies conducting Tracing, Testing, and Treatment (3T) in handling COVID-19.

Early detection is important to prevent COVID-19 transmission in Panggang Island

Panggang Island Urban Village Puskesmas Head, Tri Lusmantoro conveyed, 3T was carried out through free swab test for residents who had contact with positive COVID-19 patient.

"Early detection is important to prevent COVID-19 transmission in Panggang Island," he stated, Tuesday (12/29).

He explained that today his side provided swab tests for 5 Panggang Island residents whose results will be known at the latest in next five days.

"Hopefully they have negative results and no more residents who are exposed to COVID-19," he expressed.

Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Pepen Kuswandi appreciated Puskesmas medical teams for their efforts in providing swab test quickly thus COVID-19 spread could be prevented as early as possible.

"We also ask RT and RW to help monitoring, pay attention to their residents and take quick action if they found residents who are exposed to COVID-19," he asserted.
