The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is regularly checking to ensure the availability of water in portable sinks installed in public facilities in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.
According to Abdul Rouf, Sub-agency Head of Thousand Islands SDA, portable sink was available already in piers, residential areas, until government offices.

He explained that the water itself was flowed from the Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) with a need of reaching 200-300 liters per filling.
"Hopefully residents can increasingly obey health protocols to contain the spread of COVID-19, one of which is to wash their hands with soap in running water," he hoped.
