Collapsed Retaining Wall in Pondok Labu Indah Residential Housing Repaired

As many as 5 Cilandak Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit personnel were deployed to repair collapsed water channel's retaining wall in Pondok Labu Indah Residential Housing, Pondok Labu Urban Village, Cilandak, South Jakarta.

Cilandak Sub-district Head, Mundari mentioned, the 2-meter-high retaining wall collapsed along 8 meters due to erosion. Personnel will repair it for temporary using dolken woods and sandbags to prevent water from overflowing to the surrounding residential areas.

"We need to repair it to prevent landslides so that the channel will not be clogged by soil," he said, Wednesday (1/27).

Moreover, his side will also dredge mud sedimentation from the channel thus water can flow well.

"Our personnel dredge mud sedimentation to increase channel's capacity," he closed.
