The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of February 3.

The number of people tested last week has reached 122,285

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 20,318 specimens. 18,121 of them were to diagnose new cases with 3,567 positive and 14,554 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 122,285, while 256,016 people have undergone the swab tests," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Wednesday (2/3).

As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 26,031 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or increased to 2,231 cases. As for the total number of confirmed cases in Jakarta today was 280,261 cases. Of these cases, 249,810 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 89.1% and 4,420 people died with a death rate of 1.6%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.8%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 18.7%, while Indonesia was 10.3%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Amid PSBB, residents wanting to enter the Jakarta area were urged to carry out independent COVID-19 check-up through the JakCLM via JAKI app. In this app, they could find out the risk of COVID-19 and got various health recommendations according to the risks they have. This contribution would help the government to prevent the diseases in Jakarta.

Together with Satpol PP, the operation for residents who do not wear masks will also be intensified, including other PSBB violations. Hopefully, they can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in stopping the chain of COVID-19.
