Involving PKK Cadres, Jakarta Bermasker Movement Carried Out in Kelapa Island

PKK cadres in Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands were involved in Jakarta Bermasker (wearing mask) Movement which carried out as an effort to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

We strongly support PKK cadres to socialize and educate families and residents around their neighborhoods

Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Madi Moch. Dali expected, PKK cadres could optimize efforts in reducing COVID-19 cases, especially in Kelapa Island.

"We appreciate North Thousand Islands Police's initiative by involving PKK cadres to encourage people in Jakarta Bermasker Movement. We strongly support PKK cadres to socialize and educate families and residents around their neighborhoods," he conveyed, Thursday (2/4).

On the other hand, North Thousand Islands Sub-district Police Head, AKP Josman Harianja mentioned, Jakarta Bermasker Movement must be supported by all parties. Because adherence to health protocols is a common interest to break the chain of COVID-19 spread.

"We campaign around the village using loudspeakers and banners to encourage people to wear masks when doing activities, wash their hands often, maintain safe distance, and avoid crowds," he said.
