Jakarta Government urges all people to be more disciplined in implementing 3M health protocols because COVID-19 positive cases are still increasing. Although the government continues to intensify 3T action, it needs cooperation from the community to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.
Number of people tested for PCR in the past week reached 105,852
Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia stated, based on the latest data from Jakarta Health Agency, PCR test has been carried out for 12,565 specimens. From that amount, 10,371 specimens have been tested today to diagnose new cases with total of 3,309 positive results and 7,062 negative results.
"For information, 266,368 PCR tests have been carried out per 1 million population. While the number of people tested for PCR in the past week reached 105,852," she explained as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release, on Wednesday (2/10).

While for total confirmed cases in Jakarta as of today reached 303,715 cases. From that amount, 274,817 people recovered with recovery rate of 90.5% and 4,725 people died with mortality rate of 1.6%. While mortality rate in Indonesia reached 2.8%.
For positivity rate or positive cases percentage in the past week in Jakarta reached 22.2%, while the percentage of positive cases in total reached 10.7%. WHO also set standard positive cases percentage no more than 5%.
Jakarta Government advised people who want to enter Jakarta to carry out self-examination for COVID-19 through JakCLM feature at JAKI application. By using JakCLM, people can get information about COVID-19 risks and various recommendations according to the risks they have. People's contribution in filling JakCLM can help Jakarta Government in preventing COVID-19 spread in Jakarta.
Jakarta Satpol PP will also give sanction for anyone who don't wear mask and violate health protocols, as well as intensify guest book data collection. It is hoped that people can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission.
One of monitoring which carried out on Wednesday (2/10) morning, Jakarta Satpol PP sealed Griya Pijat Metropolis (massage parlor) which located on Jl. Melawai IX No. 10 E, RT 004/RW 001 Melawai Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, South Jakarta.
Based on the findings in the field by Satpol PP Supervision Team and following up recommendation letter for the closure of business premises from Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency No. 347/-1.858.1, it has violated business operational provisions during PSBB period and violated tourism business operation were found with indications of immoral activities and/or prostitution.
