The number of people tested last week has reached 113,602

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of February 9.

Latest COVID-19 Information in Jakarta as of February 5, 2021

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 17,607 specimens. 15,321 of them were to diagnose new cases with 3,437 positive and 11,884 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 113,602, while 265,394 people have undergone the swab tests," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Tuesday (2/9).

As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 24,152 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or increased to 599 cases. As for the total number of confirmed cases in Jakarta today was 300,406 cases. Of these cases, 271,573 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 90.4% and 4,681 people died with a death rate of 1.6%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.7%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 20.9%, while Indonesia was 10.6%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Amid PSBB, residents wanting to enter the Jakarta area were urged to carry out independent COVID-19 check-up through the JakCLM via JAKI app. In this app, they could find out the risk of COVID-19 and got various health recommendations according to the risks they have. This contribution would help the government to prevent the diseases in Jakarta.

Together with Satpol PP, the operation for residents who do not wear masks will also be intensified, including other PSBB violations. Hopefully, they can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in stopping the chain of COVID-19.

- Place of business to eat and drink/restaurant = Rp 0

- Workplace/Industrial = Rp 0
