Pademangan SDA Prepares Pumps to Anticipate Inundation

Water Resources (SDA) Task Force prepared pumps to overcome inundation in Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta, especially when heavy rain falls.

Routine check is done to ensure pumps are in a good condition and ready to use

Pademangan Sub-district SDA Task Force Head, Slamet Riyanto conveyed, his side prepared mobile pump, floating pumps and alkon pumps.

"We have 1 mobile pump with capacity 250 liters per second, 3 floating pumps with capacity 50 liters per second, and 2 alkon pumps with capacity 50 liters per second," he mentioned, Friday (2/12).

According to him, all pumps are currently in good condition and ready to use. Once a week, his side routinely checks those pumps and carries out routine maintenance.

"Routine check is done to ensure pumps are in a good condition and ready to use," he said.

Locations that are prone to inundation is RW 08 Ancol Urban Village, as well as Jl. R.E. Martadinata on the western side of KPP Pratama Jakarta Pluit.
