Two Mobile Pumps Alerted to Handle Inundation in Cipinang Melayu

Two mobile pumps belong to East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency and Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency have been alerted to handle inundation ad high as 50 cm in RW 02 and parts of RW 03 area Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar.
Thus far all is going well and we have no difficulties in handling the inundation
Fire and Rescue Division Head Gatot Sulaeman disclosed those pumps were on standby at 7 AM.

3 Mobile Pumps Used for Post-Flood Cleaning in Kampung Melayu and CawangRW 02 Cipinang Melayu Chairperson Marhasan added inundation was seen in RT 09 and 11 since 1:40 AM. Until now, no residents had been displaced.
He appreciated quick response from firefighters, SDA, PPSU, BPBD and Satpol PP personnel who were hard at work handling inundation at the location.
"This disaster often occurs indeed, because of the Sulaeman connecting channel being unable to accommodate high water discharge during heavy rain," he said.
