City Budget Needs to Be Discussed Immediately, City Council

Jakarta Provincial Government has submitted the City's Budget Priorities and Preliminary Thresholds (KUA-PPAS) to Jakarta City Council. The amount proposed is Rp 76.8 trillion. The council is urged to form board completeness to speed the discussion.

We hope the council forms the commission as soon as possible

Jakarta Provincial Secretary, Saefullah, urged the council to complete the board such as commission head, budget agency, regional legislative, and honor board. It is because the board affects and determines the budget discussion.

"We hope the council forms the commission as soon as possible," he said, City Hall, Thursday (11/6).

KPK Questions Jakarta's Tax Revenue

After submitting the KUA-PPAS, the next step is discussing the budget with the council.

The former of Central Jakarta Mayor uttered, Rp 76.8 trillion is taken from revenue Rp 69.6 trillion consists of Regional Revenue, balance revenue and other legal revenues. The rests are from unused budget and regional loan as much as Rp 7.2 trillion.

There are 14 city-owned enterprises will get fund in form of Government Investment. Those are PT MRT Jakarta, PT Jakarta Propertindo, PD PAL Jaya, PT Bank DKI, PD Dharma Jaya, PT Food Station Tjipinang, PT Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara, PT Transportasi Jakarta, PT Penjamin Kredit Daerah, PD Pasar Jaya, PT Jakarta Tourisindo, PT PAM Jaya and PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol.
