Inundation on Jalan Letjend Suprapto was Quickly Handled

Cempaka Putih Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force, Central Jakarta, handled inundation on Jalan Letjend Suprapto quickly.

We have deployed 5 blue troops personnel and 2 floating pumps

Cempaka Putih Sub-district SDA Task Force Head, Subandi mentioned, inundation was occurred due to extreme rain and the road which located in basin area.

"We have deployed 5 blue troops personnel and 2 floating pumps to the location from 5 AM," he informed, Friday (2/19).

Flood in 16 RTs in Tegal Parang has Receded

He explained that it took about 1.5 hours to handle inundation on Jalan Letjend Suprapto.

"Anticipating inundation, we have built several infiltration wells along Jalan Letjend Suprapto," he added.

Meanwhile, Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village Head, Shinta Purnama conveyed, floodwater on Jalan Letjend Suprapto had reached 20 centimeters.

"But now it has receded completely in less than two hours," he closed.
