Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of February 19

Some of today's positive data is delayed due to improved input connections to the Health Ministry system

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of February 19.

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 18,167 specimens. 15,005 of them were to diagnose new cases with 1,920 positive and 13,085 negative results.

"Some of today's positive data is delayed due to improved input connections to the Health Ministry system. There may be accumulated data from which withdrawals could not be made through the system before," she expressed, Friday (2/19).

She furthered, the number of people tested last week has reached 77,936, while 277,841 people have undergone the swab tests. As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 12,955 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or decreased to 661 cases.

As for the total number of confirmed cases in Jakarta today was 323,031 cases. Of these cases, 304,995 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 94.4% and 5,081 people died with a death rate of 1.6%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.7%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 16.7%, while Indonesia was 10.9%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Amid PSBB, residents wanting to enter the Jakarta area were urged to carry out independent COVID-19 check-up through the JakCLM via JAKI app. In this app, they could find out the risk of COVID-19 and got various health recommendations according to the risks they have. This contribution would help the government to prevent the diseases in Jakarta.

Together with Satpol PP, the operation for residents who do not wear masks will also be intensified, including other PSBB violations. Hopefully, they can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in stopping the chain of COVID-19.

Here is the recap data of violations and prosecution compiled by Satpol PP in tightening the PSBB as of February 18, at 8 PM, as follows:

- Temporary suspension of activities = 2

C. Workplaces, Business Places, Industrial Places

- Fine = 0

- Temporary suspension of activities for 3x24 hours = 0

- Written warning = 45

- License Revocation = 0

- Zero violation = 360

Total = 405

D. Value of Fines

- Individual = Rp 4,500,000

- Place of business to eat and drink/restaurant = Rp 0

- Workplace/Industrial = Rp 0

Amount = Rp 4,500,000

1. Stay home if not urgent

2. Always run 3M rules: (Mencuci tangan (washing hands), Memakai masker (wearing masks) and Menjaga jarak (maintaining physical distancing)

3. All activities permitted to operate must be within a maximum capacity of 50% and strictly adhere to health protocols

4. Remind others to always implement health protocols
