Collapsed Road Under Karet Flyover Repaired

Collapsed road at the intersection of Jalan KH Mas Mansyur with Jalan Margono Djojohadikusuma or precisely under the Karet Flyover, began repaired. Some workers seen started repairing road as deep as 1 meter with 2.5 meters wide.

As quoted by beritajakarta.com, the road is also still surrounded by traffic cones and covered by tarps. Meanwhile, traffic flow around the site looks dense.

Be Careful of Collapsed Road on Outer Ring Road Flyover

The cause of the collapsed road is allegedly from a drain construction by PT Palyja officers a week ago. "Whereas, the road was already repaired a week ago, but it suddenly collapsed," expressed, Baskhara (25), a local citizen, Thursday (11/6).

Head of Road and Bridge Maintenance Section, Central Jakarta Public Works Sub-Department, Agustio Ruhuseto disclosed that post-incident, his party immediately coordinated with PT Palyja for repairing the road.

"We immediately did coordination with Palyja. And then they were willing to repair the road. Repair itself is done at night in order to prevent traffic congestion," he finished.
