Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of March 4

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of March 4.

The number of people tested last week has reached 86,122

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 15,694 specimens. 13,340 of them were to diagnose new cases with 2,008 positive and 11,332 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 86,122, while 292,197 people have undergone the swab tests. As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 7,401 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or increased to 222 cases," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta's PPID press release, Thursday (3/4).

Latest COVID-19 Information in Jakarta as of March 3, 2021

As for the total number of confirmed cases in Jakarta today was 345,816 cases. Of these cases, 332,758 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 96.2% and 5,657 people died with a world with a death rate of 1.6%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.7%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 13.4%, while Indonesia was 11.1%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Amid PSBB, residents wanting to enter the Jakarta area were urged to carry out independent COVID-19 check-up through the JakCLM via JAKI app. In this app, they could find out the risk of COVID-19 and got various health recommendations according to the risks they have. This contribution would help the government to prevent the diseases in Jakarta.

Together with Satpol PP, the operation for residents who do not wear masks will also be intensified, including other PSBB violations. Hopefully, they can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in stopping the chain of COVID-19.

2. Always run 3M rules: (Mencuci tangan (washing hands), Memakai masker (wearing masks) and Menjaga jarak (maintaining physical distancing)

3. All activities permitted to operate must be within a maximum capacity of 50% and strictly adhere to health protocols

4. Remind others to always implement health protocols
