Starting Today, 300 Central Jakarta ASNs will Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

COVID-19 vaccination began to be given to 300 civil servants (ASNs) who served in Central Jakarta Government on Monday (3/8).

Vaccination will be held for 3 days

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma conveyed, COVID-19 vaccination will be given to echelon II, III, and IV in stages within 3 days.

"Vaccination will be held for 3 days. Hopefully it can create herd immunity between the apparatuses," he said.

Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Erizon Safari explained, 30 health workers were deployed to inject COVID-19 vaccine to hundreds ASNs.

"Before vaccination, ASNs will carry out medical check up first to ensure their bodies are ready to receive COVID-19 vaccine," he mentioned.

According to him, ASNs with comorbidities can be vaccinated as long as their health condition are under control with health certificate from doctor.

"We hope all ASNs can be vaccinated and vaccination can run well," he closed.
