West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Purwanti Suryandari mentioned, Pesakih Public Housing Retention Basin construction is almost complete. It only remains construction of drainage that connects to Semanan connecting (phb) channel along 120 meters with width, height, and depth of 1 meter as well as compaction of retention basin area.
"We plan to build jogging track and park in retention basin area. That's why compaction is conducted about 3 meters from the edge of retention basin," she said, Wednesday (3/10).

Its volume is estimated to store water up to 6,045 cubic meters.
He informed, retention basin construction that has been started since October 26, 2020 has benefited the local residents. During extreme weather occurred a few weeks ago, this area was often hit by flood but now it is no longer flooded.
"Thank God, when it rained heavily a few weeks ago, RW 01 Semanan Urban Village was not hit by flood," he added.
Not only building retention basin, his side also deployed mobile pump unit in Pesakih Public Housing to drain inundation into the retention basin.
During the construction, his side deployed 9 personnel and 3 heavy equipment, namely Sumitomo XM 07 Excavator, Volvo Long Arm XL 37 Excavator and AK 1 small amphibious.
"Now, we only need to wait for its completion as a whole, including park and jogging track which built by Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency," he conveyed.
