30 Joint Personnel and 4 Tow Trucks Deployed on Jl. Matraman Raya

As an effort to prevent illegal parking on roadsides and sidewalks, 30 joint personnel were deployed from Transportation Sub-agency, Satpol PP, TNI/Police to be on standby on Jl. Matraman Raya, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (3/16).

If it left unchecked, illegal parking will cause traffic jam

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) Monitoring and Control Section Head, Riky Erwinda conveyed, his side had monitored the area since 2 weeks ago. Joint personnel were deployed on the south side of the road, from in front of Koinonia Church to Stamplat Bogor. While on the north side of the road, from General Oerip Soemohardjo's Soccer Field to Jatinegara Fish Market and Stamplat Bogor.

"This week is the extension period for securing Jl. Matraman Raya from illegal parking practices. We plan to do trial on securing the area for two weeks, so we have one week left. In the future, we will evaluate it thus no illegal parking practice in the area," he explained.

Illegal Parking, Seven Cars Under Becakayu Toll Road Towed

Not only deploying personnel, his side also deployed 4 tow trucks to tow immediately vehicles that parked illegally.

Monitoring is carried out at 06:00-12:00 and 13:00-18:00.

"Matraman Raya is parking prohibited area. If it left unchecked, illegal parking will cause traffic jam," he mentioned.
