COVID-19, Neighborhood Areas in Munjul Sprayed with Disinfectant

It is done to follow up on a request from the urban village

The East Jakarta's Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), sprayed disinfectant in RT 03, 04 and 10/RW 05, Munjul Urban Village, Cipayung, on Tuesday (3/16).

East Jakarta PMI's Public Relations and Communication Division Head, Agus Bastion disclosed, it was carried out by six personnel plus one modified car fitted with a tank filled with disinfectant liquid. There were also four electric carrying tanks with a capacity of 16 liters each.

"It is done to follow up on a request from the urban village. The total liquid disinfectant used is 1,500 liters," he said.

Munjul Urban Village Head, Sumarjono appreciated them for its quick response in helping to spray disinfectants in its area.

"Hopefully it is capable of curbing the spread of COVID-19 transmission," he stated.
