West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency Head, Indriyanto added the rice harvest was carried out twice a year.
"After harvesting twice, we replace it with nuts. The aim is to cut pests and maintain soil fertility, as well as Ph in the soil," he stated.
His sub-agency also harvested 80 kg of avocado cipedak from five trees in the area.
"We give the harvest results to stakeholders, thus they can educate local people by providing tangible results of the harvest," he concluded.
