Makasar Sub-district Provides Photo Booth at Vaccination Site

Makasar Sub-district, East Jakarta provided photo booth for residents or civil servants (ASNs) who want to take a photo after vaccination. This photo booth property was provided as a strategy to socialize vaccination to the communities.

Makasar Sub-district Head, Kamal Alatas mentioned, initially his side installed banner with size 4x4 square meters as one of his efforts to socialize vaccination program for elderly. But a day after being installed, on Tuesday (3/23), many people use it as a background for selfie. Not only elderly, but ASNs and their families who have carried out vaccination also use this spot to take a selfie.

"Many elderly people and ASNs who take a selfie using this banner as their background. And now, this banner is automatically used as photo booth," he said, Wednesday (3/24).

According to him, by changing function of this banner into a photo booth, becomes positive point for sub-district. Because it turns out they also upload photos as status on their social media, such as IG, WhatsApp, Twitter and others.

In a day, his side targeted 500 people to participate in vaccination which carried out at sub-district office thus his side can be optimal in achieving vaccination target by this month.

Residents who participate in vaccination at Makasar Sub-district Office are from Makasar Urban Village, Pinang Ranti Urban Village, Kebon Pala Urban Village, and Halim Perdanakusuma Urban Village. While Cipinang Melayu Urban Village take vaccination at RPTRA Pilar Jati.

"From total 14,041 targeted elderly people, we have vaccinated 3,613 people or about 25.73 percent. We continue to hold vaccination to make it more optimal," he asserted.
