57 Jakpreneurs Participate Virtual Capacity Building Training for MSME

The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Agency collaborates with the STIAMI Institute to hold virtual capacity building training for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). It is participated by 57 Jakprenuers.

The materials provided include the resilience of MSMEs in facing the new era of the COVID-19 pandemic with clean, health, safety and environment (CHSE); volume consolidation; strategy to reduce the cost of logistics-UMKM; and online marketing.

Creative Industry Division Head Helma Dahlia disclosed, the training encouraged them to better understand the importance of CHSE certification, MSME logistics cost strategies, product marketing and capital needed by MSMEs and to utilize social media to develop MSME product marketing.

West Jakarta Develops Entrepreneurship with Collaboration

"Jakarta administration consistently helps them in accessing all information about entrepreneurship, especially to survive the current pandemic," she expressed, Friday (3/26).

According to him, the MSME sector was experiencing rapid development and could contribute to national economic growth from year to year.

"The development for MSMEs capacity is one of the priority scales that is consistently done by the government, especially from the agency," she explained.

She hoped that they would gain sufficient knowledge in running a business, either in person or online and used as a provision to manage their business.

"They must be able to compete in the midst of globalization. Even, developing a business into a larger business scale may ultimately increase the income and welfare of the community, especially MSME actors," she uttered.
