Repair of Kali Gongseng River Bridge Has Reached 70 Percent

The Kali Gongseng River Bridge repair work in the border area of RW 06 and 07, Cijantung Urban Village, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta has touched 70 percent.

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency's Road and Bridge Division Head, Ilham Raya expressed the bridge as long as 8 meters and 3.5 meters width was under repair, as the position was very low. As a result, a lot of garbage was stuck in the bridge when heavy rain poured and caused inundation in the residential area. The bridge was seen being demolished and rebuilt higher than before.

"To conduct it, eight personnel have been deployed to install the bridge's floor plate (habim iron) and bordes plate. The bridge frame made of iron has also been neatly installed," he said.

He ensured that there were no technical problems in the field, but only access to its location which was narrow and winding.
