COVID-19, 100,635 Seniors in Central Jakarta Vaccinated

The vaccination will keep being given, even though the set deadline ends this March 31

The Central Jakarta Health Agency (Diskes) has noted that around 100,635 or 78 percent out of 129,019 elderly people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 until the end of March.

Erizon Safari, Sub-agency Head of Central Jakarta Health said the percentage of this figure was based on data from the National Economic Recovery COVID-19 Committee (KPC PEN).

"The vaccination will keep being given, even though the set deadline ends this March 31," he expressed, Wednesday (3/31).

He stated that shuttle services for the elderly from the house to the vaccination site in eight sub-districts were effectively increasing the number of older people being vaccinated.

"One of the obstacles is access to the location. The shuttle service is quite effective," he stated.
