PT. Transjakarta Wins Two Awards at Digitech Awards 2021

PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) won two awards for categories The Best ICT Business Strategy in Transportation Industries and The Best CIO in Transportation Industries at Digitech Awards 2021.

It encourages PT. Transjakarta to continue its efforts to transform, especially from digital aspect

PT. Transjakarta President Director, Sardjono Jhony Tjitrokusumo mentioned, this achievement couldn't be separated from Jakarta Government's supports in making Jakarta as City 4.0 by utilizing information technlogy as one of important points in it.

"It encourages PT. Transjakarta to continue its efforts to transform, especially from digital aspect," he added, Thursday (4/1).

According to him, this award is a form of appreciation for hard work of all parties involved in providing best service for citizens, especially in improving digital platform capabilities which Transjakarta customers are currently experiencing.

"Thank God, PT. Transjakarta received appreciation regarding this matter. Thank you to Jakarta Government for always supporting us, as well as Tije employees who have gradually worked hard to realize this big transformation," he conveyed.

Meanwhile, Company Transportation Executive Director, Gidionton Saritua said, at the same event last year, PT. Transjakarta won awards for three categories at once, namely Top Corporate Performance 2020, Top CEO in Digital Transformation, and Top CIO in Digital Business Process.

"This year, organizers enforce updated regulations, where each agency can only win awards maximum in two categories," he added.

With this achievements, PT. Transjakarta will continue to strive and be consistent in creating integrated and sustainable transportation services that lead to Intelligent Transport Company, not only physically, but also digital payment system and connectivity.

"Later it will be applied to all parties cooperating with Transjakarta through the use of technology such as API Management," he conveyed.

Coinciding with 7th Anniversary, PT. Transjakarta has launched three additional features in Tije app, namely Loyalti-je, Suara Sahabat Tije, and Free Service Card.

"This innovation will continue until Transjakarta service becomes more modern, comfortable, and safer," he stated.

For information, at Digitech Awards 2021, Transjakarta managed to get assessment score of 4.75 from perfect score 5.0.

This assessment was based on Transjakarta's efforts in carrying out Digital Technology Transformation, thus it can improve company's performance and service to customers, transparency, accountability, responsibility, in independency, equality and fairness.
