204 Boat Passengers Take Rapid Antigen Test at Tidung Island Main Pier

As many as 204 of 451 boat passengers who arrived at Tidung Island Main Pier, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands, were asked to take rapid antigen test since they couldn't show their negative COVID-19 certificate.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah conveyed, most of them were tourists on vacation to Thousand Islands during long Easter holiday.

"Rapid antigen test is carried out to prevent COVID-19 spread on Thousand Islands. There are hundreds of passengers from seven boats that we checked, and all results are non-reactive," he said, Saturday (4/3).

COVID-19 Monitoring Continues to Be Intensifed on Tidung Island

Not only providing rapid antigen test on main pier, but his side also intensified health protocols monitoring.

"We collaborate with related regional apparatus organizations, as well as TNI and police to ensure both residents and tourists are complying with health protocols, especially in wearing masks in public areas," he asserted.

On the other side, Thousand Islands Police Head, AKBP Eko Wahyu Fredian mentioned, today's health protocols monitoring was carried out safely and conducively.

"We always socialize and remind tourists to adhere to health protocols while doing activities in public spaces," he stated.
