East Jakarta Distributes 2,000 Glasses for Free

East Jakarta Government distributed 2,000 glasses for free to students, people with disabilities, and people with impaired vision on Thursday (4/8).

These glasses will be very useful for students to read clearly. It also helps the community to do their activities

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar stated, this assistance was provided through collaboration between East Jakarta PKK and  Child and Family Service (Layak) Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from Standard Chartered Bank.

"These glasses will be very useful for students to read clearly. It also helps the community to do their activities," he conveyed.

Jakarta to Cover Registration of Trademark Rights for 1,000 Jakpreneurs

This assistance was expected to encourage students to study well and community to work optimally.

East Jakarta TP PKK Chairperson, Diah Anwar stated, PKK Pokja IV cadres in urban villages and dasawisma cadres in each RWs had collected data on residents who deserve to receive the assistance.

"PKK cadres will distribute those glasses according to the collected data," she mentioned.
