SDN Pulau Tidung 01 Pagi Students Seem Enthusiastic in Face-to-Face Learning

Face-to-face learning activity was welcomed enthusiastically by students at SDN Pulau Tidung 01 Pagi, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, Thousand Islands.

One of grade V students at SDN Pulau Tidung 01 Pagi, Khonita Farjanah admitted she was happy that her school could implemented face-to-face learning although it was still limited due to COVID-19 pandemic.

"Face-to-face learning is very fun, you can meet teachers and friends, and you can interact directly," she conveyed, Friday (4/9).
Even though she felt uncomfortable because she had to wear mask and face shield, but she conveyed that she had to get used to 3M, namely washing hands with soap, wearing masks, and maintaining distance when doing activities at school.
"Study time is still short. Hopefully COVID-19 will end quickly thus we can return to normal study with all my friends," she said.
Meanwhile, SDN Pulau Tidung 01 Pagi Headmaster, Kaswiyah mentioned, face-to-face learning trial in school is only applied three times a week on Monday for grade IV, Wednesday for grade V, and Friday for grade VI. While on Tuesday and Thursday, Gulkarmat personnel will sterilize the rooms, classrooms, and school area.
"Today, face-to-face learning is carried out for grade VI with total 13 students," she informed.
According to her, students seemed enthusiastic because no face-to-face learning activity for about one year due to COVID-19 pandemic.
"They become very enthusiastic about studying at school again although they have to be discipline in implementing health protocols and enter the class on time," she stated.
