Tanjung Priok Satpol PP Continuously Increases Discipline Residents about Health Protocols

The Tanjung Priok Sub-district Satpol PP has noted that as many as 3,504 residents have been netted for not wearing masks amid the implementation of the micro-scale public activity restrictions (PPKM Mikro) in January to the first week of April 2021.

Punishment is given to increase citizen discipline in adhering to health protocols

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Satpol PP Acting Head, Evita Wahyu Pancawati expressed, from that number, 3,488 were subject to social work sanction by sweeping the street and cleaning up garbage and 16 were subject to administrative amounting to Rp 3,600,000.

"Punishment is given to increase citizen discipline in adhering to health protocols," she expressed, Sunday (4/11).

Three Months, 4,577 Violators Not Wearing Masks Netted

She went on to say that the health protocol socialization to the public was also intensified in order to curb the spread of COVID-19 transmission, including strict monitoring in workplace and restaurant.

"As a results, 520 locations were free of violations, 9 were closed for 1x24 hours and 358 were subject to written warning," she said.

By doing so, it was expected to further increase awareness and discipline of the 3M health protocols in the public.

"Hopefully the pandemic can end soon and our live can run normally," she hoped.
