Central Jakarta SDA Intensifies Mud Dredging in 6 Locations

Currently, Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is still intensifying mud dredging work in 6 rivers.

7 excavators are deployed to dredge mud from those 6 locations

Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Section Head, Achmad Daeroby stated, his side is currently dredging West Flood Canal from Karet Sluice Gate to Tubun KS, Sentiong River, from Johar Baru, Galur, to Police Station.

Then it continues to river flow on Jalan Kramat Raya to Paseban, Jalan Kramat Sawah XIII Paseban Urban Village, Utan Kayu River from Jalan Cempaka Mas to Sumur Batu, and tributary of Ciliwung River behind RSCM.

"7 excavators are deployed to dredge mud from those 6 locations," he mentioned, Friday (4/16).

His side also deployed 73 dump trucks with capacity of 5-22 cubic meters to transport mud sedimentation from those 6 locations.

Mud dredging work in 6 locations was carried out routinely as requested by local residents through Musrenbang forum.

"But trucks are difficult to access several dredging points, such as Sentiong and Utan Kayu Rivers," he conveyed.
