Central Jakarta Mayor Receives PPE Aid to Survive Coronavirus

They are prone to coronavirus transmission, they really need PPE uniforms

Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma, symbolically received assistance in the form of 200 personal protective equipment (PPE) from the CSR Kawan Lama Foundation, on Tuesday (4/20).

According to him, the aid would be distributed to officers who were at the front while providing services to the community. They were apparatuses of the Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency spread over eight sub-districts.

"They are prone to coronavirus transmission, they really need PPE uniforms," he expressed.

Until now, his party had received a total of 377 pairs of PPE uniforms for service personnel.

"The rest have been distributed first," he explained.

He also invited the CSR Kawan Lama Foundation to collaborate in efforts to improve the quality of life of residents in Central Jakarta.

"This is not about handling coronavirus, but it can be developed into various other fields including education and development of quality of life," he exclaimed.

Store Manager for ACE Hardware or Kawan Lama Foundation, Beny Muchidin said that he was ready to open a collaboration.

"We're ready to support various programs to improve welfare, quality of education and improve the quality of life," he closed.
