The Thousand Islands Regency received 6,000 staple food packages from North Jakarta and South Thousand Islands DPRD Member Muhammad Idris, on Sunday (5/10).
The aid was symbolically received by Thousand Island Regent Husein Murad in Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands.

According to him, the aid would be distributed to six urban villages spread over North and South Thousand Islands sub-districts.
"Don't worry everyone will get this aid," he stressed.
In the meantime, Jakarta DPRD Member Muhammad Idris added that it was a form of concern for the citizens after his party distributed PPE aid for medical workers and rapid test equipment for Tidung and Harapan islands.
"Hopefully it can lighten the citizens' burden in facing this pandemic," he hoped.
