Ramadan Month, 300 PPAPP Jakpreneurs Involved in Various Bazaars

Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency involved 300 fostered micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) or Jakpreneurs in various bazaar activities during Ramadan.
Collaboration and innovation should be done to assist MSMEs
Jakarta PPAPP Agency Head, Tuty Kusumawati said, her side will hold online bazaar 6 times and offline bazaar 12 times.
"Number of fostered MSMEs under PPAPP Agency ranges from 40-60 Jakpreneurs in each regions," she conveyed (5/3).
Central Jakarta Mayor Opens Ramadan Fest 2021 at Grand IndonesiaBazaar will be held with various alternatives, in terms of organizer and format. From organizer's side, PPAPP Agency collaborates with several universities, companies, and agencies (OPDs) that also manage Jakpreneur program.
"We cooperate with other related OPDs to hold Ramadan Fest bazaar which held in shopping centers throughout Jakarta," she added.
For online bazaar, her side collaborates with universities, where Jakpreneur's products are marketed through special application which developed by each collaborators, in addition to other public marketplaces and social media.
She explained, Covid-19 pandemic has encouraged her side to find alternatives that can be done to assist Jakpreneurs in running their business. For example by finding business partners and utilizing information technology in product marketing.
"Collaboration and innovation should be done to assist MSMEs thus they can survive and develop. We take advantage of Ramadan Month to sell Jakpreneur's products as much as possible through various events thus our fostered MSMEs can develop," she asserted.

PPAPP Agency will also evaluate the application which used as marketplace for Jakpreneur's products."The point is our enthusiasm to create many marketplaces to expand business of PPAPP Agency's Jakpreneurs and open business opportunities and sustainable cooperation," she mentioned.
