West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency repaired water channel on Jl. Manunggal, Meruya Selatan Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk. This repair was carried out by widening the channel and installing u-ditch.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Drainage Maintenance Section Head, Wawan Kurniawan mentioned, repair work has been carried out since April 30, 2021. His side deployed 22 personnel to repair the channel.
"We also deepen the channel. Today we install u-ditch and close the channel. This repair is carried out to follow up resident's report and result of council member's recess," he conveyed, Wednesday (5/5).

"Therefore we are widening the channel from 20 centimeters to 60 centimeters aling 429 meters. We also deploy mini excavator," he stated.
He hoped the repair can improve channel's capacity and minimize inundation in the area, especially when heavy rain falls.
