Central Jakarta Government continues to monitor situation in Tanah Abang Market in a week before Eid.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma conveyed, situation in Tanah Abang Market entering the third week of Ramadan was less crowded compared to last week.

"Entering the third week of Ramadan, it is less crowded than last Saturday and Sunday," he mentioned, Wednesday (5/5).

His side also hasn't received any report on the impact due to crowd of visitors in Tanah Abang Market which happened on last weekend.

According to him, his side will continue to monitor Tanah Abang Market area, especially traders along the sidewalks thus they don't block the pedestrian access.

"Personnel are on standby before traders occupy the sidewalk that is potential to cause a crowd," he said.
